The school year at Explorations has already begun and I with the rest of the faculty and staff would like to take the opportunity to give you a warm welcome to Explorations.
Today, you are a jumble of emotions, you are proud that your children are entering school for the first time, but there also is an ache in your hearts as you watch them leave babyhood.
The start of the school year is a mix of emotions and holds much promise. This is the first day that we fulfill that first promise we made to you during your school tours.
We will teach with understanding and knowledge because we know that we shape young minds.
We will teach with consistency and fairness because we know that we help shape consciences.
We will teach with vision because our work shapes what the children will become in the future.
And foremost, we will teach with love.

Explorations is a progressive preschool that employs the BankStreet or Developmental-Interaction Approach. The methodology is based on current theories about child development and learning, and a guiding philosophy that upholds respect and responsibility for children.
We offer ....
- High adult to child ratio to allow for individualized attention
- A set-up where children are encouraged to make decisions, express their feelings, share, cooperate and be sensitive to others
- Experiences and quality materials that support and develop their unique interests and multiple intelligences such as: math materials, book and video library, dramatic play materials, music and movement classes, enriching reading and writing experiences, fieldtrips, play areas with child-safe equipment, a variety of art materials, building blocks and other construction materials
- A strong home-school partnership through parent development programs, caregiver development programs, formal and informal parent teacher conferences and opportunities to volunteer in the classroom
- Mature and caring teachers who love to learn and have solid backgrounds in early childhood education
- A curriculum using English as a medium of instruction as well as an exposure to Filipino and Chinese (optional)

I heard good reviews from other moms. To see for myself, I enrolled my son in the toddler program on a month-to-month basis at first. It turned out to be a positive experience. So from a month-to-month “trial” my son has been here 4 school years later now along with his little sister. - Nikka Santos
